5.8Buffet Cô 3 CòiThe value of food is exception and deserves 5 stars. However, the staffs are on power-trips. Hence I do not feel like contributing to their salaries any more. When the weather is nice, they open up the top of the tent. Therefore, the smoke is not unbearable. The place is usually packed, but the replenishment is equally prompt. Sea food is fresh. I have braved their oyster raw twice without getting sick at all. In my first visit, I also tried their sea urchin raw. In my last visit, their sea urchin did not look good. There was no refill after the first batch ran out. My old complaint was the washroom, but that got fixed up very well over the Tet holidays. In our last visit, we brought our own oyster knife, paring knife, and a cutting board. While my wife taking them out of our backpack, a staff spotted a bottle of water, and insisted on taking custody of that bottle. My wife pleaded that water bottle (1L Nalgene) carried sentimental value, and was difficult to replace. She promised that we would keep the bottle in the backpack. That was not good enough for the staff. When they returned that bottle on our way out. the lady was holding it by the bottle cap strap. Near the end of our meal, my wife took the knives and cutting board to the washroom for cleaning. She was stopped by the lady guarding the Fortress of Feces. That lady claimed that would stink up the sinks. The only things our knives and cutting board touched was the food in this establishment. Even if the food indeed is stinky, our equipments were just as stinky as any pair of hands washing in those sinks. Other than the staffs, this restaurant is actually quite good and legendary. People from near by countrysides would come to it as a tour. I guess the staffs and management gets cocky because of the good business. Well. Enjoy, while it lasts. ...Xem thêm
