9.6ExcellentI rarely give an excellent grade. I give an EXCELLENT to Hang's. Run by two sisters. I have worked in East Los Angeles. The chef at Hang's has learned to make excellent Mexican food, via a cookbook. She is talented. The chilis are excellent. Cheese was not present. Food is hot chili, not sweet as we often find in DN. Good food! Very good. I went today, November 27, 2017. I ordered Enchilada Plate and Burritos, both were chicken. The chef came a bit late, and told me that she had not made refried beans so I only received a portion of red beans (no cheese). Still, quite good. The first plate was 100,000 plus the second being 100,000. The sign on the wall said that if I bought the first dish at 100,000, I would receive a 25% discount on the second dish. I did not receive the advertised discount. I WILL go back. Three times were posted. Door said that they opened at 0730. Not true. Open at 0930. Vietnammm says that they open at 0830. I arrived at 0830, and tables were still strewn about, and the restaurant full of motorcycles. One of the owner ladies said that a good coffee shop was at the end of a side street. I went. Only a 2 minute walk. Coffee shop was indeed quite good. Indoor and outdoor seating. I marched back at 0930, and arrived Hang's. :) One month's worth of exercise? Both Hang's and the coffee shop have comfortable tables and chairs. I will go again, to both places. Hang's has coffee-vin, which is generous and quite good. English is spoken. I recommend this restaurant. Very nice feeling, nice owners, and a nice neighborhood feeling. Did see one older lady marketing pigeon eggs. She had an adorable young girl with her. I pondered giving the small girl 10,000 vnd, or not. l lack wisdom in this matter. The little girl was not begging, she was a nice kid. But, people should not think that money is something that we retired men throw away. Everyday, every country, people want free money from us. Overall, food very good. Generous. Advertised discount for 2 dishes over 100,000 was not given. Food was worth the price I paid. Refried beans with cheese not provided like the pictured advertisement. I recommend that you go. I believe that this place can easily be one of your favorites. If you go early, walk across the street, down the block, and there will be a very nice, new, coffee shop. ...Xem thêm
