7.8My Neighborhood Joints - VietnameseThis place seems open sometimes and full, and then other times closed, so I have no idea of the schedule. I think of the pho places, this is probably the place I like best in the neighborhood. And may be one other place in Hoan Kiem on Au Trieu (don't know the name, but it is near Chusa and the Cinnamon Hotel; tourists sometimes show up, so I think it must be reasonably well known). As for Pho Oanh, they serve a pretty hearty beef brisket pho, a little bit oily. Their broth is not watered down like many other places that I have tried. Writing about makes me think about going back and having again. It's not the cleanest of spots, actually there is a place across the street that serves chicken broth pho which is cleaner which is good too. It's a bit cramped inside, but I think it is pretty good. ...Xem thêm
