8.0Le Rendez -Vous De SaigonThis wine bistro not only focuses food that matches well with the different wines on offer, but also on its customers having a good and relaxing time. Two floors bring you two different environments: the first floor is laid out with comfy sofas, and resembles a Parisian lounge. Decorated like a wine cellar, the ground floor offers a warm and friendly atmosphere, hosting the main bar and tall tables, it is an ideal place to start the night off. The wine menu has over 90 different varieties, six of which are offered by the glass, and changed every two weeks in order to give guests the opportunity to try new wines; prices start at VND490,000 per bottle. Champagne and spirits complement the drink menu. As for food, Le Rendez Vous de Saigon offers a nice selection of dishes. Divided between cold and hot, the cold dishes vary from VND100,000 to VND190,000 per plate, with the hot selections starting at just VND40,000. The menu was designed with wine and sharing in mind, making portions ideal for sharing. We tried some French oysters which were fresh and delicious, served with vinaigrette and perfectly matched with our Sauvignon Blanc. The homemade foie gras was nicely presented. Soft and tasty, melting in your mouth and very delicate. We also tried the soft boiled egg Trilogy - three delicious eggs served plain, with parma ham and smoked salmon, a great combination that goes very well with wine! Finally we enjoyed the traditional Magret de Canard (duck breast) - very rich, tender and elegant, served with a sauce that truly elevated the dish. Our evening was lovely - good food and wine, sounds of ‘the Girl from Ipanema’ being played live next to us by a live jazz band which plays at the restaurant every Friday and sometimes during the week. Le Rendez Vous de Saigon is open 7 days a week from 5pm until late. A great place to meet, relax and enjoy. ...Xem thêm
