1.0Tokyo Relax - Relaxation & Beauty SpaMy partner and I acquired vouchers for 1hr of foot/body massages at Tokyo moon from a group buy website. We were excited to try out a new spa, but when we came, the manager came out and literally let out a little squeak when we presented her with the vouchers. She then proceeded to inform us that the vouchers were only for locals. This condition was of course not stated anywhere on the vouchers, or the website we bought from. To provide you with more context, I'm Vietnamese Canadian and he is Vietnamese Danish, and we both have Vietnamese passports. Sure, as pastries go, he looks a bit ethnically ambiguous and we communicate with each other in English out of habit. But between the two of us, we've lived in Vietnam for over a decade, so this kind of discrimination was pretty appalling. Let's imagine for a second that it's even okay to charge foreigners a different fee for the service because " they can afford it", in what kind of scenario would it be a win for the spa to straight up tell their guests that they have to pay more because the manager, based on her subjective assessment, decided that they're "foreigners" and will not be issued any promo ? That is just terrible customer service, not to mention downright racist. We were short of showing her scanned pages of our Viet passports when she finally decided that it wasn't necessary (mind you, I had been speaking to her in Vietnamese he whole time). For the rest of our exchange, she alternated between dramatic exhales, uncomfortable smiles, poorly concealed scowls and strange little squeaks. She then informed us that the vouchers we bought did not include tip. Thank you lady, we really appreciate the guilt trip, right after blatant discrimination. The massage was fine, but not mind-blowing enough to off-set the terrible experience we had at the front desk. We tipped our masseuses anyway because we felt that they shouldn't suffer for the manager's behavior, but heck, if you're gonna put your services up on a groupon kind of site, make sure you do it for the right reasons. This could have been an opportunity for you to wow your new customers so that they will come back and pay full price. If you're not getting the volume you expected, take it off that page, but don't treat your customers as if you're doing them some kind of favor. 8.2Không gian và chất lượng okMình đi 2 người, mình với bạn mình, lúc vào thì thay đồ và bỏ vào tủ đồ riêng, còn bóp và điện thoại thì nhớ cầm lên nhé. Đi buổi sáng nên khá là vắng vẻ, khi bước vào hành lang là đã nghe xộc mùi xả, nói chung phòng ốc ngăn nắp sạch sẽ, sang trọng, chủ yếu là khách Nhật họ hay đến đây nhiều. Nhân viên massa cho mình thì còn khá trẻ, làm cũng nhẹ nhàng, dễ chịu, ít nói chuyện vs khách lắm. Đầu tiên là thoa dầu dừa và massa lưng trước, sau đó lên vai, cảm giác ấn ngón cái đi từ dưới sống lưng lên trên hơi phê, rồi tiếp đến là đầu, rồi đến tay, và cuối cùng mà chân. Trc khi massa chân thì được massa bằng đá nóng, mình thấy hơi nóng chắc do mình ko quen, rồi đặt trên lưng, cô nv lấy khăn trùm lại.
