8.8Nhà thờ tộc Nguyễn TườngIt is the chapel of the Nguyen Tuong family - a well-known family in the near-modern history of Vietnam. The most famous members might be Thach Lam and Nhat Linh - two authors in the literature group Tu Luc Van Doan, who are considered to have laid the foundation for Vietnamese modern literature. This ancient chapel used to be the residence of Mr. Nguyen Tuong Van - Minister of the Military Ministry. It features the architecture styles of three cultures, Vietnamese, Japanese and Chinese, and has the typical model of Vietnamese ancient residence for rich people (the three-compartment-two-wing model).
