8.2Cool design idea for a cafe!Nguoc Cafe is, as its Vietnamese name suggests, upside down. You may not notice it much on the first floor — aside from some peculiar windows — but the second floor is where the name really shows. A creaky walk up a narrow flight of stairs leads you to a room particularly upside down and a more private, non-smoking floor seating area. The floor sitting space has maybe enough seat cushions for 15 and has a mural painted brick wall in the back. The main room has an assortment of wooden tables and chairs. A quick glance up and you'll see the same on the ceiling! The walls have upside down art and everything. The design is cute and adds to a usually vacant ceiling with something unique and creative. The Vietnamese iced coffee was 14K if I remember correctly! And pretty good! Overall, the cafe is nice with the design, affordable coffee and it is peacefully quiet (at least, they were not playing music while I was there in the early evening!). Makes for a good reading spot! Will come back! ...Xem thêm
